Went to a bar the other night. A bar in Dallas. It was called Lee Harvey's. There were fires outside and a pretty good juke box and probably some of the best pool players I've seen.

Finally, somebody who has some real priorities. And yeah, I'm a geek and all. But you start having a couple really frustrating conversations with people and things start going not as smoothly as you thought they'd go and suddenly you don't remember things that you knew before.
Holy shit. I just saw a commercial for Medieval Times. People gon' hafta come to Dallas for my birthday, that's all there is. Oak Cliff representin'!

If the box says something along the lines of "Cable/DSL Router," then it'll handle PPPoE, you just set that up through it's web interface. To get the most bang for your buck, you should go ahead and get one with wireless and a handfull of ethernet (~4) ports to boot.

Oh. Didn't know the router could handle it on its own. Does it have to be a dsl modem/router, or should a wireless router on its own do the job?
I guess I could just go to d-link's site and look that shit up on my own.
And happy t-day, all. Drink beers!

Scoot
Get a cable/dsl router. It takes like 5 seconds to set up.
Step two: buy mario kart DS. It is the best.
Step three: play me over the intarweb. Mario Kart DS works over wifi so so sweet.
I am so pwning n00bs on Mario Kart. And drunk.

My advice: buy a DSL router and let that handle the PPPoE.

good to hear from you, mc. i'm afraid if i don't lay off this search and get ready for work that somebody's phone will be thrown at a wall or something. why is fucking pppoe so essential with all of these assholes?
