Sit back while I spin you a yarn about a time long ago, when gentlemen were leisurely and beer flowed like really fast flowing beer.
It twasn't but a handful o' fortnights ago, the year still two-thousand aught-four. Gentlemen came together and congregated from the three corners of the (apparently triangular) world: Lakeview, Uptown, and St. Bernard. We came with our finest in leisurewear; our coifs perfectly manicured and our dress as fine as possible in textiles of luxurious colours and textures and terrycloths.
We gathered to watch the passing of the great god Thoth and his entourage and celebrated as we imbibed the spirits and caught the many baubles thrown to us from the procession.
