RANDOM QUOTE
This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it.

STILL DOING A LIL' BIT O' DEVELOPMENT ON THE SITE

Well, I've played Alice and my feelings on it can be pretty much summed up here. Its *OK*, the enemies ruin the whole game for me, they either pummel you on the hard setting, or they're pretty resonable (and few of them though) on the easy setting. The problem with putting it on the easy setting is that it removes a few of the cooler puzzle type situations like the floating and flipping checker board floor. Oh well, no one ever said American McGee could actually make games (although I think the only thing he had to do with that game was getting paid for putting his name on it for marketing purposes).

But I digress, the site is coming along and I have a component installed to allow writers to upload their own files, but I have yet to implement it because I'm trying to decide whether or not to use it or just write my own to keep the site kinda 'clean' of proprietary, pre-compiled code. I added a random quote generator but you're not seeing it because it would randomly generate (PUNNY!) an error. While looking up the error code in the Microsoft Kno-nothing Base, I ran across an article pertaining to the error, which had this to say about it:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

Well, isn't that lovely. Thank god I wasn't getting paid to do this site for a client (cause this kinda situation has cropped up before at work, god that sucks). So give me a few days to work around this and (joy oh joy!) you'll have your random quotes you bastards.

Anywho, I'm audi 5, have fun, and don't go Columbine on anyone!

Well, Glitch. I have to say that I feel pretty good about being able to add my 2 cents worth to your site. You just wait 'til I figure out how to add my own pictures and other filth.

I THINK THE TESTING IS OVER

Everything appears to be working, but I'm sure little things here and there will pop up so drop me a line if you see anything outta wack. I think I'm going to set my sights on an easy way to add pictures and formatting to these news stories because its all done by hand in html. Then again, that adds a certain flexability to it, so who knows.

The site is now *almost* completely maintainable over the web, so I guess I'll start asking a few people to help with the updating and start using the url in my signatures to advertise it as a complete waste of time (but you get to see cervixs!).

Anywho, the job I had my eye on fell through so i guess I need to start pounding the pavement. If you know of anyone needing to hire an ASP mack-daddy such as myself, give me a holler.

As far as linking to stuff goes, I haven't really had the time to browse around for interesting things, but the Alice demo is out, so that's what I'm going to be doing to unwind from the weekend long coding extravaganza I just pulled on this site. Have fun.

Title says it all. Still having problems with apostrophes and commas though.
