DATES STILL OUT OF ORDER, YET UPDATES CONTINUE... | | Category: Misc Sunday, November 12th, 2000 @ 02:21 pm
| Ya, so the dates aren't working, so sue me. Any how,
The shiznit is coming along and in all due time Ill be ready to change stuff around here and make it look not so damned
boring. Ok, enough about me, lets talk about me. Unfortunately im am sick as
a dog and I believe i have John to thank
for that.
As for the news updates being outta order, its because im storing them as strings
because i get nothing but headaches when using date fields (data type conversions and error when I go to pop converted values into them).
I was parusing around and stumbleed into
Planetside. A massively multiplayer online RPG that
(THANK GOD!) doesnt envolve elves and fruity magic, but good old futuristic, FPS, run-and-gun glory!
I nabbed some screenshots from the press release site:

WEB PAGES DRASTICALLY CHANGED, YET LOOKS THE SAME! | | Category: Misc Saturday, November 11th, 2000 @ 06:35 pm
| Is there anything in the universe better than a really good ass? The new site is up, although it looks a lot like the
old site looked exactally like this one, so let me explain. I've swapped it out with a dynamic backend so i can update
using the program i wrote without any headaches (using server side includes with a DB backend). The news block you have come to love is completely editable and if changes
will change the whole look of the news throughout. It's not revoluionary but its pretty f'n sweet. So im guessing that i will start to change the look and functionality soon
seeming as its so damn easy with the way its set up now.
On a side note, the dates are out of order due to the lovely side effect of living through the cusp of the millenium. The program sees the year 99 as being after the year 00 (as it numerically should) but this should be fixed soon.
Till then, this is long dick dong signing out.
